AMAZON PAYS MORE:

Amazon has raised its minimum wage for US and British workers, putting pressure on rivals to do the same. the company, wich has received intense criticism over pay, working conditions and tax affairs in recent years, has raised its US minimum wage to $15 an hour; and to $9.50 in the UK. The move will blunt some of Amazon's critics, though many economists say that the increase was also necessary. With the US unemployment rate below 4%, there are more job offers than people looking work.

RECTANGULAR ICEBERG:

Nasa as shared an image of a nearly perfect rectangular iceberg about 1.6kilometres across in Antarctica. The US space agency said that the iceberg's sharp angles and flat surface indicate that it had recently broken away from an ice shelf, probably the Larsen C ice shelf. While the iceberg looks unreal, it is an entirely natural phenomenon. Such objects even have a name.
