SUMMARY Chapter 1: THE LEGEND OF THE HOUND OF THE BASKERVILLES



Sherlock Holmes was in his flat at 221B Baker Street in London smoking his pipe. Suddenly, he heard the doorbell ring and the visitor arrives. His name was a thin tall mane called Dr. Mortimer and he needed some advice of Holmes. His clothes were smart and he wore glasses. The Doctor was a friend of Sir Charles Baskerville, a person that died a three months ago in a horrible way. Then he started reading a history that Barskerville made before died and he had given him.
The history was: “I’m Hugo Baskerville, and I’m writing this in 1742. The head of the Baskerville family in 1640 was a cruel and bad man, named Sir Hugo Baskerville that fell in love with the daughter of a farmer.  One night, Hugo jumped on his horse and rode after the hounds. Some of his friends also decided to rode after him. After a while Sir Hugo’s friends saw an old man in the darkness and he told them that he had seen a huge hound running silently beside Sir Hugo.
