It's original: With generous chunks of cake, candy and pices of biscuit, Ben & Jerry's ice cream is special. It's a complete dessert! The first ice cream was vanilla but today there are around 60 flavours, including banana spilt and strawberry cheescake. And for vegans, there's non dairy ice cream made with almound milk.
It was created by two best friends: The American founders Ben Cohen and Jerry Greenfield met in 7th grade in school. In 1977, when they were 26 years old, they both did a training course on how to make ice cream. they created the company one year later. Today Ben & Jerry's is part of the multinational Unilever, and has scoop shops in 35 countries. And Ben and Jerry are still friends!
